The ProStaff 550
Our Price:
$219.95
The ProStaff 550 is the perfect size and profile for any hunt. It is easy to use in the field with a high-contrast LCD display, single button control and a continuous tracking feature that allows for ranging of multiple or moving targets. The ProStaff 550 is unaffected by extremes in temperatures, so consistent ranging can be accomplished in even the toughest hunting conditions. The unit measures ranges in either yards or meters and features an automatic power shutoff after the reading has been displayed for eight seconds. The Nikon ProStaff 550 features an easy-to-grip green rubber armored body, and is also available in REALTREE APG.
Nikon’s ProStaff 550 features a six power monocular with precisely ground and polished lens glass that is multicoated with anti-reflective compounds to improve light transmission, clarity, and color rendition. The rangefinder provides an exit pupil of 3.5mm for maximum brightness under less-than-ideal lighting conditions. The eyepiece is adjustable, with a range of +/- 4 diopters, and has 18mm of eye relief and folds down for use with eyeglasses. In addition, the Nikon ProStaff 550 has a real angle of view of 6.0 degrees.
The ProStaff 550 measures 5.1” x 2.7” x 1.5” and weighs 6.3 ounces without battery. It is powered by one CR-2 lithium camera battery that is included with the rangefinder and an internal display shows the user how much battery power is remaining.
The new RifleHunter 550 Laser Rangefinder
Our Price:
$279.95
The new RifleHunter 550 Laser Rangefinder combines Nikon’s trademark speed, accuracy and simplicity with Tru-Target technology designed to give hunters the confidence to make long-range shots—especially in difficult situations such as shooting up a mountainside or down into a canyon.
Nikon’s advanced ID Technology compensates for various incline or decline shooting angles—up to a ± 89-degrees of angle, providing the estimated distance that the bullet will actually travel. The hunter simply aims, pushes the button and plans the shot according to the displayed distance.
The new RifleHunter 550 displays distances in 1/5-yard (.2 yard) increments under 100 yards when in ID mode and ½-yard (.5 yard) increments under 100 yards in standard mode. Beyond 100 yards, the 550 Rangefinder displays in one-yard increments.

Nikon Real Tree Laser 800
Our Price:
$399.95
Featuring Nikon's Revolutionary Tru-Target (TT) Ranging System and original digital processor, the new Nikon Team Realtree Laser800 Rangefinders (8357) allow you to prioritize smaller and harder to range targets at the push of a button. In the First Target Priority mode, confidently range objects as small as fence posts or get an instant reading on that lone buck in the meadow. The Distant Target Priority mode displays range to the farthest target among multiple results by a single measurement, ideal for accurate ranging in typical hunting situations where game animals may be partially obscured by grass or brush.
Pinpoint, 1/2 yard precision at 400 yards and consistent ranging capability up to 800 yards, backlit LCD display, 6-power multicoated optics (with an eyeglass-friendly 18mm of eye relief), the Monarch Laser800 Rangefinders are guaranteed 100% waterproof and fogproof.
The Nikon Laser Rangefinders feature an easy-to-grip black rubber armored body. It is tripod adaptable rangefinders and includes a neck lanyard, belt case, battery and available in a Team Realrtree version featuring Realtree Hardwoods Green HD camouflage.
The addition of the new Realtree Camo Camouflage pattern announced by Nikon to its product line for 2007. Nikon offers multiple camo binoculars, riflescopes, and laser rangefinders in the new Realtree APG (All-Purpose Green) pattern - lightening up the look of the optics with the new open, contrasty and realistic pattern.
Half-Yard Accuracy - NIKON Team Realtree Laser800 Rangefinders:
Whether you hunt with a bow or rifle, Nikon has the right Laser Rangefinder to match your hunting style and budget with fast, accurate reads, unmatched ½ yard precision and single button simplicity. When you crunch the numbers it becomes clear that Nikon’s unmatched ½ yard precision becomes the most important feature to consider for real world hunting situations.
For Example, take an average bow hunt: You’re 15 feet up a tree, the deer measures 25 yards from your position. The aiming distance, when compensating for angle, from you to the deer, is 24.5 yards- exactly ½ yard of difference. Move that deer out to 40 yards and the aiming distance would be 44.5 yards- all within Nikon’s level of accuracy. Now factor in that the competitors’ laser rangefinders are only accurate to ±1 yard, and you can see beyond the fuzzy math to how those less accurate laser rangefinders can actually have a negative impact on your shot.
Tru-Target Ranging System - NIKON Team Realtree Laser800 Rangefinders:
First Target Priority Mode: Allows confident ranging of object as small as fence posts or to get an instant reading on that lone buck in the meadow.
Distant Target Priority Mode: Displays range to the farthest target among the targets measured, ideal for accurate ranging in typical hunting situations where game animals may be partially obscured by grass or brush.
