SORRY WISHFUL THINKING!!!

The G18 is a compact, discreet, and highly effective machine pistol. In semi-auto mode, the weapon behaves like any 9x19mm Glock, but with a flick of the selector switch on the rear of the slide, the G18 becomes capable of emptying an entire clip in the blink of an eye. Cycling at between 1100 and 1300 rounds per minute, the gun supposedly feels like a high-pressure water hose. The Glock 18C is an attempt to make the Model 18 more accurate and controllable under full-auto fire. By building a muzzle compensator port system into the top of the slide, hot gases from the chamber are ejected upwards, drastically reducing muzzle-climb. The G18C definitely has advantages over long guns, such as the MP5 and M16 variants, for the G18C is a very low-profile automatic weapon. It looks like a standard Glock 17 9x19mm handgun, and will perform just like it when full-auto fire is undesirable. Whatever carry method is good for a handgun is the same for the G18C. It is a very non-threatening piece of equipment. No bad guy, spectator or news reporter would have a clue until the gun is fired. The weapon is also extremely portable, making it well suited for CQB work. The G18C can be employed with a ballistics shield, and is ideal for confined quarters, where ranges exceeding 10 meters are rarely an issue. When carried in concealment, the G18C is typically loaded with a 17 round clip, and 33 round magazines carried as spares. Despite the advantages of this weapon, only a handful of police departments have purchased it, and virtually none are legally owned by civilians in the US. This is primarily due to the fact that hand-held machine pistols are generally perceived as indiscriminant shooters, incapable of hitting anything without a shoulder stock. While this does not apply to the G18 nearly as much as other MPs, few officers feel that full-auto pistols have a place in law-enforcement. Recently however, a substantial number of Black Book operatives have been observed carrying these guns, leading Aegis to believe that the Book has placed a large order with Glock under the disguise of a legitimate agency or government.
